Product is hazardous and Customer Service is Iffy
I purchased a drying appliance in August, delivered 8/15. I used it 4-5 times per week on average and on 11/4, the motor slowed down and stopped and there was a burning smell.
I have since plugged it in to see if it was a safety mechanism against overheating and it still doesn't work. However, the blue light comes on AND the handle generates heat. I think that most reputable companies would see this as a product defect and offer a refund or exchange, whatever is chosen by the customer, but their policy is 30 days on returns and a 2 year warranty against defects, and they get to decide if the product is defective or not when you send it back for an exchange.
Considering this product could have caused a fire in my home, I do not feel comfortable replacing it with a new one. I have had the RMA approved so I don't have to pay shipping to return it but it is unclear if they will be willingly refunding my money or not.
